Barn Shoot Packages

Planning the production of a DVD for one horse can be confusing enough, but with multiple horses it becomes even more daunting. I’ve put these packages together which all adhere to a basic format of a DVD menu, varying amounts of footage of each horse, customer edits, and final presentation. Prices may vary depending on individual needs.

Videography and Photography
Prices will vary based on time and travel. ~$50.00/hr plus 100.00 for the first hour.

Video and photography is all done with state of the art equipment. The camcorder is a Panasonic DVX100B which shoots in 24p. This gives the video the look of actual film. Many commercials, documentaries, and independent films are shot with this camera. Still photos are shot with professional gear as well, and of course retouched.

Highlights DVD Package
$399.00 + video fees

The highlights package is suited for marketing horses in the 4-10k range. We essentially meet the horse. 2-5 minute montage.

Includes:

1. Video and photography. (not only shooting but capturing and organizing.) This would also include digital conversion of VHS and/ or scanning any still photos or VHS material the customer might want included in the project.
2. Editing, including whatever titles, lower thirds, etc. into a 2-5 minute montage of the horse.
3. DVD authoring w/ menu access.
4. 2 Printed DVD’s w printed DVD jackets. Additional copies are $8.00 each.

Showcase DVD Package
899.00 + video fees

The showcase package is much more comprehensive, including a slideshow made from stills (if availible), set to music -in addition to the video. May also include voiceover from the seller, pedigree info, and any other info. Includes 20 printed copies.

Includes:

1. Video and photography. (not only shooting but capturing and organizing) This would also include capturing any still photos or VHS material the customer might want included in the project.
2. Editing, including whatever titles, lower thirds, etc. into a 5-15 minute piece on each horse. This can include complete pedigree info, honors, show footage, stills, and even voiceover from the owner.
3. DVD authoring w/ menu .
4. 20 Printed DVD’s with printed DVD jackets. Additional copies are $8.00 each.
5. One customer proofing/ re-edit.
